If you dont want to be scammed anymore then I would suggest you only buy ONE ecto at a time if this bug is still going on.

I know it would take alot of time to buy multiple ecto but would you rather take more time trading then less time being scammed of your gold?

Yeah, cause we all know that if something is amoral, but you can get away with it, then it's OK...

Physical - you can't post people's IGN's.

It's against forums rules.

I think we need a stricter scamming policy.

Default An obvious solution

You know, most of this scamming would virtually go away if Anet implemented a reputation system.

But then, that falls under "trade improvements" so we'll probably never see it.

Sorry for being negative, but I'm just really discouraged by the lack of progress on such highly requested features as trade improvements and storage improvements while the developers work on things like moving the attributes selectors around and pet controls. Don't get me wrong, I would love pet controls, but storage and trade would benefit EVERYONE, not just rangers and ranger secondaries.

I think something has been forgotten here. WE ARE CUSTOMERS. WE PAY FOR THIS PRODUCT. Why does ANET treat us like children for whom they are doing favors? Are they really witholding information on feature development because of competive concerns? Guess what, other games already have a lot of what we're asking for.

I could go on, but I don't have time at the moment. Sorry for the rant.

I guess you haven't done your homework. By the looks of your writing, you probably have never done homework in your life. Anyways, there have been more than 1 glitches in PvP (i.e. bringing more than 8 people into GvG) and there has never been a rollback because of it. It sickens me that you have to fall back on some lame rebuttal using PvP as your scapegoat. Get a life.

You clearly stated "any sort of rollback". Because of the Signet of Might glitch, the ladder was rolled back approximately thirteen (13) hours. This classifies as "any kind of rollback".

I rest my case.

Oh come on. You knew exactly what we meant by "rollback" and that we were talking about entire server rollbacks. You're just being nitpicky at this point. Anyone with reading comprehension can tell we were talking about server rollback just from the context that we were using.

The whole point was that a server rollback would be a ridiculous decision despite people getting scammed. We are not talking about ladder resets or PVP. Try to follow the conversation, okay?

Well I have a question for the mods here. Why haven't you banned the scammers from guru?? I know we can't do anything about their GW accounts, that's A-Net's decision, but just from reading this thread you see a few people bragging about how much they've scammed from the glitch.

I know that some of the mods will say that these scammers are long time members and so they shouldn't be banned, but IMO they are scammers plain and simple and I have no interest in reading their opinions on any topic in the forum.

If there's a bad post, you report it or PM a moderator. If there's something wrong in the thread and a moderator hasn't looked in the thread yet, posting in the thread isn't going to help matters.

I'm not going to attempt to find out what is happening ingame between players. If you have problems with someone, send it to http://www.guildwars.com/support, not here.

Closed.
